Brass Blessing : LARGE – Vintage BARR & STROUD Military / ROYAL Navy Marine BINOCULARS – 7 X C.F.42 – England – Nautical Maritime Naval Boat Marine – The Company had a major works complex in Anniesland Glasgow producing high quality optical instruments for the Royal Navy and Armed forces.The company ceased to exist in the mid 1970’s being taken over by Pinkertons , the site of this great optical firm is now a Tescos car park, something I find really sad to be honest. – What you see here is the standard hand held and bearing mounted bincoulars manufactured for the Royal Navy. The CF42 was used by the Fleet Air Arm. – SHIP’S 100% ORIGINAL FOUND FROM DEMOLISHED VESSEL, RECENTLY DEMOLISHED AT ALANG SHIP BREAKING YARD OF GUJARAT – ONE KNOB IS MSSING FROM THIS TELESCOPE AND YOU CAN SEE THIS IN MY PICTURES
